Our Story
Kisha Nxënësit e Jezusit (Disciples of Jesus Church- DoJ) was founded in Tirana, Albania in 1991 immediately after the fall of communism. Through the ensuing 33 years, DoJ has rented all meeting spaces and church offices. Meanwhile the church has grown into a mother church, sending out former Muslims as church planters throughout Albania, as well to other Muslim populations in four surrounding nations. The Lord has also blessed DoJ to raise up and resource many Christian leaders, families and society as well.
Having progressed from 0% of Albanians in a Protestant church in 1991 to 1% today, this movement has only begun.
